Sometimes, work in psychotherapy is relatively short, lasting only a few sessions, and other times it takes much longer. How long you spend in psychotherapy depends on your individual goals.
Is There Paperwork to Fill Out?
Please download my Disclosure Statement and Intake form, read, complete, and bring the forms to our first session. If you have any questions about these forms, or anything else, please feel free to ask!
I do not take insurance at this time, however, I can provide you with a statement which you can submit to your insurance provider. It is possible that your insurance plan may reimburse you, treating me as an "out of network" provider, though I cannot guarantee this.
What Are The Risks And Benefits?
It is important, when considering whether to pursue psychotherapy, to be aware of the possible risks and benefits that one may experience. The process of psychotherapy may bring one into contact with difficult thoughts and feelings and the changes that one makes in their life may lead to challenges in existing relationships. Benefits that people may receive from engaging in psychotherapy include a greater capacity to deal with life’s challenges and to pursue one’s goals, relief from ongoing psychological difficulties, and more satisfying relationships with one’s self and others.
What is Your Rate?
